Hi my name is Taz,

I'm a Front-end Developer πŸ’»

About

Hello everyone! I am Taz, I am a Front-End Web Developer based in Toronto. I am passionate about coding and all things tech, I love creating and writing clean code.

Being able to make my ideas come to life through coding excites me and I thoroughly enjoy learning new skills and growing in the field of Front-End Web Development.

I come from a background in tech and have worked in IT support, I use the skills from my previous roles to troubleshoot my code when it doesn't behave how it should. Since discovering Web Development, I have never looked back and have jumped in head first into the coding world.

When I am not coding, you can catch me outside enjoying the sun and when the weather is not so great, I will be catching up on Netflix.

Top 15 Best Sellers

The top 15 best sellers is an app that was built using React and pulls information from the New York Times API. As they update their best sellers, this updates my app also and will keep the information up to date. The information shows the author of the book, the duration of weeks on the list, the links of where you can purchase the books and also a description of the story.

Find (events)

Find (events) was built with HTML, Sass and Vanilla JS, it works with the Ticketmaster API and pulls information about events, the dates, and venue. The individual would enter the city they are visiting, the start and end dates and click on find events. This will then pull up all the events happening between those dates for that city.

Find (events) was built by myself, Aaron Rodriguez and Tiffany Fust.

Daily Task Assistant

Daily Task Assistant was built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, it will add the tasks you enter on to the list and once completed you can click on the green check button to mark it as completed or you can remove this by clicking on the red button and this will delete the entry, this is super handy when you need to make a quick list of the things you need to tackle for the day.
